Using TradeTrace
TradeTrace is a workspace for journaling, replaying, and reviewing your own trading decisions. You are responsible for the accuracy of the trades, notes, and screenshots you record, and for how you use them.
Not financial advice
Trading involves substantial risk of loss. TradeTrace is a journaling and review tool. It does not provide trading signals, market predictions, or financial advice.
Past performance in any record, replay, or analytic does not indicate future results.
TradeTrace does not sell trading strategies, signals, courses, managed accounts, or brokerage services, and nothing in the product is a recommendation to buy or sell any instrument. Historical replay and simulated prop-firm evaluations are educational simulations that use no real money.
Your account
- Keep your sign-in details private. Activity under your account is your responsibility.
- Tell us promptly if you think someone else has accessed your account.
- Use accurate contact details so account and security messages reach you.
Your records
Your journals, trades, notes, and screenshots remain your records. We use them to run your workspace, as described in the privacy overview, and you can export them as JSON from inside the app.
Acceptable use
- Do not try to access another user's workspace or data.
- Do not disrupt, probe, or overload the service, or upload malicious files.
- Do not use the workspace to break the law or the rules of a broker or prop firm.
Plans and billing
The Free plan needs no card. Paid upgrades are not open yet; the price is always shown before you pay. Paid plans are sold by our reseller and Merchant of Record, Dodo Payments, under its buyer terms, which handles checkout, tax, and receipts. We provide the service.
Plan features and limits are as shown on the pricing page on the date you subscribe. Founding-member prices stay the same while your subscription stays active. We give at least 30 days' notice before any other price change takes effect at your next renewal. If you downgrade, your data is kept and anything above the new plan's limits becomes read-only.
Cancellation and refunds are covered by the refund and cancellation policy.
Market data and integrations
Replay candles, economic events, and integrations show their source or status where it is available. Demo data on the public site is illustrative. Historical data can contain gaps, so check anything you rely on.
Changes to the service
Features may change as the product develops. When these terms change, the date on this page changes with them.
Ending your account
You can stop using TradeTrace at any time. Export the records you want to keep, then email support@tradetrace.net to request account deletion.
